Our August 7^th gathering will be a double bill.

Bill #1 will be our October Zocial at Tanner’s Bar and Grill at 143^rd & Metcalf on the Southeast corner. Let’s start gathering about 6:00 p.m. for refreshments and food.

Bill #2 will be Powell Observatory in Louisburg. About sunset we will caravan from Tanner’s out to Louisburg to be stargazers for the evening. Powell Observatory is a privately funded and constructed Observatory. Their homemade telescope is truly impressive. A bonus for the fact that members of the Observatory set up their own telescopes in the lot for gazers to enjoy. If you’ve ever wanted to see the rings around Saturn or the moons of Jupiter, this may be your chance.

 Admission is $5 per person. Please have exact change.
