Finally got wheels on track for the first time this year. It was 100+ temp as I was rolling into Topeka. Clouds rolled in during driver's meeting and cooled things off by a couple degrees. Everyone got in one dry session. Second session out, the rain started coming and going. At one point it was raining on the west side of the track but not the east. As soon as I got back to the paddock, a strong shower started. Waited out the rain under the shelter while other groups went out. Rain quit in about 30 minutes, and temps were now in the mid 80s. Had a blast on the wet track. By the last session of the night track was dry again.
4 sessions for $60. What a deal on track time!

NEWS BULLETIN!!!!!!
Heartland Park has added an October 6 Touring Club date! Starting time 2:00 p.m.!! The info is found on the claendar, not on the Touring Club page.
We will now resume regularly scheduled programming.

I just read a post that based on current registrations it's kind of "iffy" whether this will be canceled or not. If you plan to go you need to register ASAP.
